Phra Ajarn Prinya (Klang) Thirapanyo

His original name was Mr. Prinya Man-intra.  He was born on 28th September, 1968, in Nong Phai district, Petchaboon province. He moved to Pitsanulok province with his family when he was 10 years old.

26th March, 1983

He was ordained as a novice when he was 14 years old at Bhothiyan Temple, Muang district, Pitsanulok province.  He was the disciple of and stayed his first lent at Nong Pa Phong Temple, which was the temple of Phra Bodhiyana Thera (Luang Poo (venerable father) Chah Subhaddo), in Warinchamrap district, Ubon Ratchathani province.

1984

He stayed in the lent and took part in building Mab Chan Temple (73rd branch of Nong Pa Phong Temple) in Muang district, Rayong province, for 2 years.

1986

He stayed in the lent at Wang Wimok Temple (99th branch of Nong Pa Phong Temple), in Muang district, Nan province.

29th October, 1988

He was ordained as a monk in the monastic boundary in the middle of the water at Wang Wimok Temple (99th branch of Nong Pa Phong Temple), in Muang district, Nan province.  His preceptor was Phra Ratchanantajarn.  His Phra Kammawajajarn (the first ordination teacher who prayed in the initiation ceremony for the monks) was Phra Ajarn Prasopchai Kantasilo.  His Phra Anusawanajarn (the second ordination teacher who prayed in the initiation ceremony for the monks) was Phra Ajarn Anan Akinjano.

1983 – 1989

He became the disciple of Luang Poo Kasem Santajitto at Khao Sanam Jang Temple (177th branch of Nong Pa Phong Temple) in Ban Mee district, Lopburi province, for 15 years.

During that period, he helped Phra Kru Panya Kittisophon (Phra Ajarn Tanong Kittipanyo) build the pagoda and synagogues on the top of Sanam Jang mountain for 9 years until they were finished.

2004

He secluded himself to practice the dhamma on Sam Yod mountain in Ban Rai district, Utai Thani province for 5 years.

2010 

He held the position of the abbot of Phum Bampentham Temple, Ban Rai district, Utai Thani province, which is a branch of Nong Pa Phong Temple, according to the order of the senior teachers.  He renovated this temple which at that time was desolate and dilapidated until it became prosperous and has been the center of the faith and dhamma practice for people and Buddhists.

2018

He held the position of the abbot of Saeng Pra Dham Temple, Wang Sombun district, Sa Kaeo province.

Phra Ajarn Klang has practiced dhamma and meditation, following the direction of Lord Buddha and Phra Bodhiyana Thera (Luang Poo Chah Subhaddo) of Nong Pa Phong Temple, Ubon Ratchathani, since the first day of ordination. 

As of today, he is 54 years old and has entered the ordination for 34 years.
